Dr. Alison Givner has devoted her life to caring for families. That includes her own family of 3 boys and her husband Michael, of course; and the hundreds of families across generations who call on her to personally care for their dental and oral health.
Dr. Givner combines a highly personal approach with world-class dentistry. She founded Givner Family Dental to provide exceptional dental care for people, not patients. Dr. Givner takes great pride in spending time educating people in order to provide context to procedures, routine or complicated, to promote good dental health habits that may prevent future issues and keep radiant smiles on the faces of everyone who walks through her doors.

Dr. Givner earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 2000. She completed her General Practice Residency at North Shore University Hospital, Manhasset, NY in 2001, and earned a BA in Biology at Binghamton University in 1996. Through consistent participation in continuing dental education, Dr. Givner continues to stay on the forefront of best practices in dentistry in order to provide the very best possible care for the community she serves.
She is well recognized for her philanthropic and deep community involvement including contributions and support to Livingston public schools, Livingston Youth Sports, the Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris, Inc., as well as other worthy causes and organizations. Dr. Givner is passionate about educating students, especially during Dental Health Month when she partners with pre and elementary schools to teach students about the importance of dental health.
